I came to this position after serving as an elementary music teacher in Parkway School District 25 years. I also taught with the St. Louis Children’s Choirs and Maryville University. I was actually retired about a year-and-a-half. My husband and I have been members of Delmar since 1975 when we moved here from Kansas City, MO. I love working with so many people who also love Delmar and are generous and dedicated to serving the Lord through this congregation. I appreciate the talents and diversity here. I appreciate the openness and accepting ways of the members. Some churches are about excluding, Delmar is about including. I sing in the choir, serve on the worship committee and the church council and participate in many other ways.
I enjoy working with Terry as our pastor because of his wonderful writing ability and reading knowledge. He inspires us all to read more and learn more about our theology and our culture and how they come together in our lives.
